Blood in the Water
(part 2)
September 2, 1945. The Japanese delegation formally signs the instrument of surrender on board the USS Missouri, marking the official end of world war 2. Europe, Asia and Northern Africa lay, in bombed-out ruins. Half-way around the world, America and Canada are unscathed.
On June 25, 1950, the Korean War an began when some 75,000 soldiers from the North Korean People's Army poured across the 38th parallel. The fighting ended on 27 July 1953 when the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed but that war did not end, formally, at least. Still, what has since become known as 'the west' escaped major damage.
As a large portion of the world starved, and froze, because America and her allies destroyed their infrastructure, a golden age began in the west. American manufacturing became King, due to the lack of significant competition. America built a global financial system that survives, to this day. Meanwhile, hatred grew among those that mourned their dead as they tried to find enough to eat and to pick up the pieces, of their former lives.
On January 17, 1961, during his farewell address, President Dwight Eisenhower warned against the establishment of a 'military-industrial complex':
"...In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist.
"We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper, together."
Then came the Garks

The enemy, defined:
While intellectualizing the Garks may be appealing, they are all too real. (I have come here to bury Cesar, not to praise him.) Omens; harbingers of doom, are they; products of a failed, or forgotten national consensus, appearing just before the fall of every nation history records; enemies, not only of the common man but of every man; heartless, evil, wily, treacherous and devoid of mercy; in the vernacular of our times, the mothers of all, bad news.
The motto of America was 'In God We Trust.' The Garks have instilled another creed: 'Money Talks, and Bullshit Walks.' There is no better, and more universally relatable example of the rule of Garks than the medical industry. A complete lack of morality is the trademark of the Garks. Walk into any hospital, clinic or doctor's office. At the counter, the first question should be 'what's wrong with you?' N O T It's 'do you have money to pay,' instead. You are about to learn just how deep the medical rabbit hole goes, the color of the pill you choose notwithstanding.
In the stead of compassion, and care, you will face traps at that counter. Woe to the person who is not hip to their game, or too sick to function properly. You will be asked to sign in the little plastic thing on that counter. BETTER NOT! You better read every last word in ANYTHING you sign! And you better have the cojones to refuse to sign, even if that means they refuse to treat you. And they most certainly will. CLICK HERE
If you ask to read what you are supposed to sign you will hear something like, 'It's just a formality, giving us your consent to treat you' as the smiles disappear from their faces. They have even been known to say they are out of the forms! Many people lack the fortitude to get ugly. That's what is necessary, on many occasions, to get a printout of the CONTRACT you are being ASKED to sign.
Buried in that contract (often in several places) is a blank check. You are being asked to sign a promissory note and the amount you agree to pay is undefined; a true, BLANK CHECK. Read each and every word on those pages! Find all the instances of 'I agree that I am responsible for all charges' (or the like) and mark them out. Then sign it.
You may be told you are not allowed to modify the admission application. WALK OUT. If you are seriously injured or really sick, tell them the law requires them to stabilize you, before they transfer you to another facility. That will get you care, but not much.
Who ARE these people?
The Garks are a breed apart - not human, by any of the accepted standards.
In the mind of a Gark busting America's unions, closing her factories, removing the livelihoods of Americans by exporting their jobs, denying medical care to those in need of it, even taking food from our children's plates are every day occurrences; no big deal. They sent tens of thousands to their deaths in wars, like Vietnam. They were (and continue to be) responsible for hundreds of thousands more deaths, from COVID-19.
In short, these are not human beings. They just look like us, that's all.
Mr. Steven Greenhouse is a big-time writer. So much so he ignores polite requests from the likes of me to link to his articles. CNN, MSN, The Guardian, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time Magazine, Yahoo India, CNBC, HuffPost, The Los Angeles Times and more have published his work. If ever there was a credible source of information, he is it.

Progress
Throughout the annals of mankind there have been "jumping off points;" junctures, marking the end of an era and the beginning, of the next. Of those, few have been so obvious and, in this case, useful as the mastery of fire.
Fire enabled man to warm his home, cook his food and, as always, to kill other men. Tools are just that, having no choices, concerning how they are used. Fire is the driving force behind nearly all weapons, save nukes.
During the 20th and 21st centuries progress has happened so hard and fast it seems to have become commonplace; to be barely worthy, of consideration. Now I can pick up a thing I carry where my cigarettes used to be, talk to it and find out who rules Uzbekistan; what Michaiel Gorbachov's middle name was or what tomorrow's weather will be, in Timbuktu.
Soon education itself may become a thing of the past or, at least, change, in that it no longer entails storing arcane facts. The presence of a 'digital mind in the air' should make changes that radical, and much more. But there is a dark side, always.
History defines the Garks as localized, intermittent phenomenon limited (like everything else) by location, scope and language barriers. Technology has torn those walls down. Now Garks in all places are in the same place, which is cyberspace. Now communication is instant and can be encoded, for security. The progress accomplished, of late, means the conditions formerly present only during decadent times are present all the time.
In short, technology has empowered evil (and so the Garks), just as it has everything else. Oligarchy used to exist in some places. Now it exists in all places. Now it threatens, all places.
Blood in the Water
The animosity generated by America winning wars; being too far away to absorb much of the damage done in those wars; taking unfair advantage of their status as one of the few countries not blown to hell as the result of those wars... (it goes on and on) has been seen as opportunity, by the Garks.
Countries like China and Russia, with legitimate (in their perception) axes to grind have bought into the hate, mongered by the Garks. Meanwhile, the Garks have used their control of this nation to do all the wrong things, at all the wrong times.
Russia makes a point of disrespecting America, at their every opportunity. They bully, and intimidate our diplomats CLICK HERE use their warplanes to "buzz" our vessels CLICK HERE and aircraft as we say, and/or do, nothing.
China builds multiple ICBM silos CKICK HERE, right in plain sight, without even trying to hide what they are doing. China threatens and bullies Taiwan, on a daily basis, and claims to have chased our ships from "their territory" in the south China sea. Again, we say, and/or do, nothing.
Any veteran of any grade school playground knows the best and fastest way to encourage any bully is to offer no opposition. Russia and China have bullied us for so long, without a single response, that they are bluffing, no longer. Soon they will actually do something that will end our credibility, forever.
Our enemies smell blood, in the water - our blood. Soon - too soon - the feeding frenzy will begin. And the Garks will make sure we lose. When the only nation that can oppose the new, young lions is done in the Garks will need only to take them over (if they haven't, already) and our world will fall, to evil.
