What's up with Latins?

Mexicans. Guatemalans. Hondurans. Catch phraise for all of them? Latins. Spanish speaking people from the Amercas.

 

I believe my perception of Latins, in general, is shared by most. I've never had trouble with Mexicans. I tell them I learned Spanish in high school, then I ask them if they mind if I try to talk with them in Spanish. I don't have to try to screw that up. Soon we are all laughing.

 

The reasons for the unmitigated persecution of Latins by the trump administration are easy to see, especially when we remove the labels. Men are not happy until they find a herd to join and another, to fight. A common threat unites men like nothing else can, until the threat is gone, at least.

 

When you own the media; when you are the source of the spin that colors, even reverses the truth, you can use that power to create a brand new us and them. It would seem Latins have been chosen due to their visibility. Arabs seem a much better choice but people don't see them in the streets.

 

A flash bang is a grenade not meant to kill. It produces a bang loud enough to make your ears ring and a light bright enough to blind you, temporarily. Cops toss them into rooms they are about to storm. When the senses of the people in that room return they are looking down the bores of police weapons.
