Clarity, of Thought

 

 

On the right:

A fetus is a human being. Killing human beings is a crime - murder, in fact.

On the left:

I'm 17 years old. My parents are in jail. I work at Dennys, as a waitress. I rent a room in a big old house with 5 other people. Together, we can barely come up with the rent and our utilities .

I'm pregnant. What will I do, as my term nears it's end? How will I pay my rent? Who will hold my hand, as I deliver my child?

After I deliver my baby I will end up in some cockroach infested apartment, a welfare mom. I will not be able to work because what little I can earn will not pay for my childcare. My life will be over - then and there.

 

NO CLEAR WINNER, until...

 

Objections to abortion are based in religious belief. The same beliefs upon which our nation was founded, I'll grant you, but religious beliefs, nonetheless.

The constitution of the United Stated of America makes it abundantly clear that an American can choose to participate in any religion, or no religion, at all. No person has the right to force their religious beliefs on another person
